The uncle DNA test cost depends on the type of collection and test you choose. Below, we have provided some examples of what an uncle test could cost based on your choices. Please note, all prices for appointment-based DNA tests are inclusive of VAT.

Uncle Test Price Options

Appointment based uncle DNA test prices at a DNA Clinic

If you wanted to book a ‘peace of mind’ uncle test at a clinic, the cost would be £280. This is for one uncle, one nephew or niece, and can include one known parent (optional). Or, if you wanted to test an extra nephew or niece, this would increase the cost by £60. So, to test one uncle and two nephew or niece, the total cost is £340.

What would be the cost of a legal uncle DNA test using the example above? The cost for one uncle and one nephew or niece is £395. The extra person cost is £90. So, the total for one uncle and two nephew or niece is £485.

DNA uncle test kits

If you prefer to take your own DNA mouth swab samples, you can order a DNA home kit. You can call 0800 988 7107 and order an uncle home DNA kit from a Clinical Advisor. A deposit of £20 is required to order the kit, and the remaining test analysis cost is £165. To have an extra person tested is only £54.

Mobile collection uncle DNA test prices

If you choose this option, the prices for an uncle DNA test would be as follows. The basic peace of mind cost for one uncle, one nephew or niece, and one known parent (optional) is £315. The extra cost to have another nephew or niece tested is £60. So the total cost for one uncle and two nephew or niece is £375.

The legal uncle DNA test cost is £420 for one uncle and one nephew or niece. The extra person cost is £90. So, the total cost for testing one uncle and two nephew or niece is £510.
