The twin test cost depends on the type of collection and test you choose. Below, we have provided some examples of what a twin test could cost based on your choices. Please note, all prices for appointment-based DNA tests are inclusive of VAT.

First, there are three types of sample collection service, these are:

An appointment for your twin test at a DNA Clinic*.
Or, an appointment at a location of your *choice by a mobile collection officer.
Or, by ordering a twin DNA test self-collection kit.

Twin Test Price Options

Appointment based twin test prices at a DNA Clinic

If you wanted to book a twin DNA test at a DNA clinic, the cost would be £250 for 2 siblings. Or, if you wanted to test an extra person, for example triplets, this would increase the cost by £60.

DNA twin test kits

If you prefer to take your own DNA mouth swab samples, you can order a DNA home kit. You can call 0800 988 7107 and order a twin home DNA kit from a Clinical Advisor. A deposit of £20 is required to order the kit, and the remaining test analysis cost is £165. To have an extra person tested is only £54.

Mobile collection twin DNA test prices

If you choose this option, the prices for a twin DNA test would be as follows. The cost for 2 twins is £290. The extra cost to have another person tested is £60.

Split Payment Options

To help spread the cost of your DNA test, we offer a split payment option. This is a popular option and is available for all twin DNA tests.

Self-collection twin DNA test kits

We need the first half of the twin test cost when we receive your samples to begin the analysis. To receive the results from your twin test, you must pay the remaining balance before they are due.

Appointment based sibling DNA tests

To confirm the appointment, you must pay at least the first half of the test cost. To receive the results from your twin test, you must pay the remaining balance before they are due.
