Our commitment to the highest standards of quality means that BioClinics only use laboratory facilities that are accredited by:
- The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to carry out parentage tests directed by the civil courts in England and Wales under Section 20 of the Family Law Reform Act 1969
- International Standard ISO 17025 for DNA Paternity, Maternity, Sibling Analysis & Drugs of Abuse Testing.
At the time test samples are collected, each test participant is required to provide:
*Two recent passport photos.
*Current photo identification – Passport or Driving Licence
For clients under 16 years of age, a birth certificate (along with the passport photos) will be accepted, if no other forms of identification exist.
If clients are not in possession of their passport or other ID listed then suitable alternatives are sought.
The identities of the test participants involved in a Peace of Mind DNA test will not be legally verified. The details entered onto the DNA test report are based on the information provided by the test participants at the sampling appointment. Therefore the DNA test report is not suitable for use in legal proceedings.
